Exploring Mercantour National Park on snowshoes is available from December to March, with three guided routes from Rando Terres d'Azur. If you want a nighttime outing, the tour under the stars lasts 2h, costs 24 €, and is rated “Everybody welcome”. Daytime outings cost 20 € for a 2.5-hour hike rated “Occasionally sporty”. You can pick between tracking local wildlife or walking along the wolf trail in Allos. All departures leave from the local tourist office with bilingual French and English guidance. Choose the evening 2h walk for an easy pace, or go for either 2.5-hour themed daytime trek if you want a slightly more active exploration.
